Giving financially is an opportunity for us to partner with God and to help support the ministries of The Corner Church. The Corner Church has a number of ways that you can give. Whether you choose to give by e-transfer, through our PAR system or using tithing envelopes on a Sunday morning, your annual donations of $20 or more will be receipted for tax purposes at the end of the year.
If you have any questions concerning giving or tax receipts, please email email@example.com.
E-transfers (through online banking)
Now available! You can also give through online banking. E-transfers can be sent to: for The Freeway and firstname.lastname@example.org for Gateway.
Please use e-transfer if you would like to make a donation to the Corner Church's accessibility ramp project. Our fundraising goal is $17,700 (see below). When giving to this project by e-transfer, please send your e-transfer to , and indicate that it is for the "Gateway Building Fund" in the message window of your online banking form.
Pre-Authorized transactions – PAR
PAR or Pre-Authorized Remittance is a "direct debit" program that allows people to support their church through an automatic monthly withdrawal from their bank account. On the 20th of each month, PAR amounts are debited from donor accounts and then the total, less the service fee of 55 cents per transaction, is electronically transferred to Gateway or FreeWay's bank account as designated.
In order to sign up for PAR, you need to fill out a form and provide a void cheque. Please contact our treasurer, Julie Moore (email@example.com).
Thank you for your generous support!
Disclaimer: Tithes through online giving will be processed through the FreeWay's finances, but will go to support the work of the Corner Church per our shared ministry agreement.
Restricted Fund Policy: Spending of funds is confined to programs and projects approved by either the FreeWay or Gateway Church (the two congregations which together comprise the Corner Church). Each restricted contribution towards such an approved program or project will be used with the understanding that when the need for such a program or project has been met, or cannot be completed for any reason determined by either church, the remaining restricted contributions will be used where needed most.

Please use e-transfer if you would like to give to this project, and indicate that your gift is for the "Gateway Building Fund."
